Cutting the Grass

COQUETTE

There are five fields on the site and twice a year our good neighbour Didier cuts the grass for us. Coquette, and Tanya, her foal are ponies belonging to Anais and Flora and are sometimes grazed in one of the fields.

The pictures were taken and used for a calender 2010. Next's years calendar will be Portals of the Auvergne - doors and gateways to buildings.

This is a series of photographs taken in 2007 in the Auvergne and surrounding area, of picturesque, mostly ruinous, sheds some of which have been used in a calendar.

Ginger

Ginger is a whippetX and has made many trips to the Mill with us. She is a good traveller. One of the pictures shows her 'passport' photo. The colourful coat she is wearing is to prevent her being mistaken for a small deer in the forest and shot by La Chasse. She likes wearing it anyway.
